Frequently Asked Questions

It is a collection of 6 unique hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers used to add volume for different needs in seven specific areas of the face.

During treatment, filler is injected into the treatment area by a licensed specialist using a needle or cannula. Fillers add volume to the treatment area. However, results are not permanent, and retreatment is usually needed to maintain your results.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a sugar naturally produced by the body that retains moisture in the skin. The main ingredient in Juvederm fillers is a modified form of HA. It fillers temporarily restore volume loss in certain areas of the face and help provide long-lasting, natural-looking results.

JUVEDERM is injected in small amounts directly into the facial tissues to supplement the underlying skin structure. Wrinkles are smoothed away and sunken areas of the face are plumped up instantly. The entire procedure takes 30 to 45 minutes depending on the extent of the area being treated.

The results are typically long lasting. A single treatment will last nine months to one year before re-treatment is required. However, some people have reported a single treatment of Voluma XC lasting up to 2 years (optimal results).

The most common side effects are swelling and bruising at the injection site lasting no more than 7 days from the procedure. Immediately after the injection, lumps may be evident at the injection site but are easily remedied by gently massaging the area to distribute the drug evenly across the treated area.

Although we recommend avoiding vigorous exercise for 24 hours after treatment, there are no downtime.
